Our Herd Bulls

We are very proud of how our investment in herd bulls has turned out. The progress we see in each new calf crop continues to surprise us. We selected these bulls with these criteria:

1. Passed a breeding soundness exam, to include semen testing, as yearlings. No exceptions are allowed.
2. Above average scrotum size for their age.
3. Good Disposition.
4. Show quality conformation.
5. Thrifty – put on flesh easily.
6. Performed well as roping stock for at least one season.
7. Not just good horns, but GREAT BIG HORNS, with correct shape, as yearlings. Early horn growth, resulting in BIG HORNS in yearlings, so they are ready to rope at a year of age or before, is more important to us than horn size as mature bulls. As yearlings, our bulls all had GREAT BIG HORNS!

Because of our size, we can provide you with multiple half-brothers sired by your pick of our herd bulls. Contact us before January for groups of half-brother yearlings available for March.
